(9569) Quintenmatsijs is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 11 February 1988 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.

The asteroid was named on November 20, 2002 after the Flemish painter and co-founder of the Antwerp painting school Quentin Massys (1466-1530).
