Medical journal
The member magazines of the German medical associations are usually unspecifically referred to as the Ärzteblatt . 18 different medical journals are currently being published nationwide. With the exception of Bremen, they are the official communication organ of the respective chamber. Some doctors' leaflets are published together with the respective statutory health insurance association . Then they act accordingly as a communication organ for both bodies. If statutory health insurance associations are not co-publisher of a regional medical journal, they still use this for their official notices in the relevant sections.
