Émile flat
Émile Henri Flach (born February 24, 1853 in Bastia , Corsica , † February 17, 1926 ) was a French lawyer who was the first Minister of State of Monaco between 1911 and 1917 .
Life
Flach, the only son of Henri Flach and his wife Angélique Félix Hermance Arena, was head of the personnel department in the Ministry of Justice and Religion and was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Legion of Honor on February 5, 1897 for his services . Later he was Attorney General (Procureur Général) at the Court of Appeal in Caen (Cour d'appel de Caen) . For his services there, he was also awarded the Officer's Cross of the Legion of Honor on December 31, 1904 . On February 5, 1911, during the reign of Prince Albert I, he became the first Minister of State of Monaco . He held this office until December 31, 1917, after which Georges Jaloustre took over the office temporarily in January 1918.
Flach was married and had four children.
