Ödön Bodor (born January 24, 1882 in Kapuvár ; † January 22, 1927 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian middle-distance runner , sprinter and football player .

He began his sporting career as a soccer player and was twice featured in friendly matches for the Hungarian national soccer team (in April 1901 against the Surrey Wanderers and in October 1903 against Austria).

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he was eliminated over 1500 m in the preliminary run. In the 800-meter run , he and the German Hanns Braun overtook the British Theodore Just , who had been third for a long time, on the home straight , but had to admit defeat Braun in the battle for bronze. In the Olympic relay he was the final runner of the Hungarian team on the 800 meter section and was narrowly beaten in the final by Braun and pushed to bronze.

In 1912 he was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Stockholm over 400 m , over 800 m and in the 4-by-400-meter relay in the preliminary round.

He was national champion three times over 440 yards (1908, 1909, 1911), five times over 880 yards (1906, 1909-1912) and four times in the mile run (1905, 1906, 1908, 1910).
