Džoni Novak (born September 4, 1969 in Ljubljana , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Slovenian football player .

Career

Novak played with Olimpija Ljubljana in his hometown until 1990 . He then held positions in various professional leagues in Europe. He played for two years with FK Partizan Belgrade and two years in Turkey with Fenerbahçe Istanbul , after which he returned to Olimpija Ljubljana for another two years. From 1996 he played in France for Le Havre AC and CS Sedan and from 2000 in Germany for SpVgg Unterhaching . With Unterhaching he played in the Bundesliga and rose to 16 in the table. from. Novak stayed in the 2nd Bundesliga for another year . He then let his career end in Greece with Olympiacos Piraeus .
