İlyas Çakmak (born July 14, 1988 in Menemen ) is a Turkish football player in the service of Altay Izmir .

Career

Club career

İlyas Çakmak began club football in the youth of Metaspor and moved to the youth of Çanakkale Dardanelspor in 2003 . As an amateur footballer, he took part in the training of the professionals and made his debut for them on August 13, 2006 in a league game against Sarıyer SK . In the summer of 2007 he received a professional contract and was immediately loaned to the fourth division club Bursa Merinosspor for one season . A season later he returned to Dardanelspor and played straight away in the starting line-up.

For the 2010/11 season he left his club and moved to the second division side Çaykur Rizespor . Although he could not fight for a regular place in the first season, he came to regular appearances as a supplementary player. He spent the second half of the 2011/12 season at third division side Adana Demirspor . With this team you managed to indirectly rise to the TFF 1st Lig via relegation from the TFF 2nd Lig . In the relegation final against Fethiyespor , Çakmak scored the decisive 2-0 in the 80th minute.

At the end of the season he returned to Çaykur Rizespor, but was put on the list of players who could leave the club for free. Because he couldn't find a club until the end of the summer transfer period 2012, he finally stayed with Rizespor. For the second half of the 2012/13 season he was loaned to the third division club Balıkesirspor .

In the summer of 2013 he was loaned to the third division club Göztepe Izmir . For the second half of the season, his contract with Goztepe was dissolved and he was loaned to Yeni Malatyaspor for the rest of the season . For the 2014/14 season, his club loaned him to Altay Izmir .

Also at Altay, Çakmak only stayed half a season and then played for half a season for the third division clubs Pendikspor , Gümüşhanespor and Üsküdar Anadolu 1908 SK . For the 2016/17 season he was hired by the third division club Bucaspor . After he had remained inconspicuous in his first season with 3 goals in 20 league games, he became the league's top scorer with 28 goals in 33 league games in the 2017/18 season . Since his club missed relegation, Çakmak moved to the third division Sakaryaspor in the summer of 2018 .
