Łomnica (German Lomnitz ) is a village in the eastern part of Upper Lusatia in southwest Poland . It belongs to the municipality of Zgorzelec , Powiat Zgorzelecki in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and is located near the German-Polish border , accessible via the Hagenwerder / Radomierzyce border crossing . The border with the Czech Republic to the south is four kilometers away.
Lomnitz Castle, a dilapidated baroque castle from 1732, is well worth seeing.
