society

Vachoušek played in his youth for Lokomotiva Bílina and FK Teplice , where he made his first team debut in 1998. In order to allow the young midfielder match practice, he was loaned to Brümmer Česká Lipa, SC Xaverov and Chmel Blšany . His breakthrough came in 2001, in March 2002 he moved to Slavia Prague for 35 million crowns . That made him the most expensive Czech player in the league by then. After a successful year and a half in Prague , he went to the French first division at Olympique Marseille . After his good performances in the UEFA Cup , Vachoušek was loaned out by the then opponent FK Austria Wien for a year. After a very strong season, Austria Wien drew the option to buy. In April 2005 he tore a cruciate ligament and was absent for six months. After mixed performances at the beginning of the 2006/07 season , he suffered another ligament injury and was absent from the team until the end of the season. After further injuries and poor healing, rumors circulated about an injury-related end of career. On March 29, 2008 Vachoušek celebrated a successful comeback in the Austria Wien team.

In summer 2008, Vachoušek moved to his former club FK Teplice. In August, Vachoušek was loaned to Sparta Prague with an option to purchase until the end of the year . For the second half of the season he returned to Teplice .

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the German regional league team FC Oberlausitz Neugersdorf , where he ended his active career after one season.
