Ștefan Adrian Mardare (born December 3, 1987 in Bacau ) is a Romanian football player . The central defender has been playing for FC Dunărea Călărași in Liga II since the beginning of 2017 .
Career
At the beginning of the 2005/06 season Mardare came into the squad of the first team of his home club FCM Bacau , where he came on April 22, 2006 for his first appearance in the Romanian top division, the Divizia A (today League 1 ). After the end of the season he moved to league rivals FC Vaslui , where he was able to develop into a regular player during the 2006/07 season . In the following season he qualified for the UI Cup .
In the summer of 2008, Mardare Vaslui left and moved to Rapid Bucharest . At Rapid he could not assert himself as a regular player and was only used irregularly. At the same time, the club was unable to build on previous successes and fell back into midfield in League 1. After he was not used in the first half of the 2010/11 season , he moved to the reigning Hungarian champions Debreceni Vasutas SC during the winter break . In summer 2012 he returned to Romania, where Oțelul Galați signed him. Half a year later he returned to Rapid Bucharest. After the club had to relegate to Liga II in the summer of 2013 , he signed on with the second team from Dinamo Bucharest . In February 2014, second division UTA Arad signed him , with whom he had to relegate at the end of the season . He then moved to CS Național Sebiş in League III . In the summer of 2015 he joined league rivals FC Hunedoara . In the summer of 2016, he hired Unirea Alba Iulia there. At the beginning of 2017, he signed second division FC Dunărea Călărași .
