Immediately after the founding, the EP Midnight was published online with two songs. This was reissued in April 2014 via No Sleep Records . This was followed by a tour as an opening act for Chiodos , Emarosa , Our Last Night and Hands Like Houses . In May of the same year the project was signed by Good Fight Music and eOne Music . The debut album In Humor and Sadness was released by the two record companies in July, and it was listed at number 109 in the US album charts .

In January 2016, work began on the second album, which was released in June 2017 under the name Two Parts Viper on eOne and Cooking Vinyl . Drummer McClellan, who had supported the project from the start, ended the collaboration and was initially replaced as a session musician by Nikko Yamada.
