The (lower case ɱ) is a letter of the Latin writing system . It consists of an M with a J-shaped hook.

The lowercase letter ɱ is the symbol for the voiced labiodental nasal in the International Phonetic Alphabet . The capital letter Ɱ is mainly used by American scientists and represents the unvoiced variant of the sound.
