The Rae ( ) is the 17th letter of the Georgian alphabet . The letter represents the sound [⁠ r ⁠] and is indicated in German by the letter R transcribed.

Today only the რ is used in the Mchedruli alphabet . In the historical Chutsuri alphabet there was still the capital letter ; the lower case counterpart was the .

It was assigned the numerical value 100.
