(1007) Pawlowia is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 5. October 1923 by the Russian astronomer Vladimir Alexandrovich Albizki the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in simeiz was discovered.
The asteroid is named after the Russian physiologist and Nobel Prize winner Ivan Pavlov .
