(1048) Feodosia is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on November 29, 1924 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth in Heidelberg .
The asteroid was named after the city of Feodosia in Crimea at the suggestion of I. Putilin , who calculated the orbit .
