(11504) Kazo is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 21 January 1990 by the Japanese astronomer Tsutomu Hioki and Shuji Hayakawa at the observatory in Okutama ( IAU code 877) in Tokyo was discovered.
The asteroid was named on May 9, 2001 after the city of Kazo in Saitama Prefecture , known for its carp flags .
