(1267) Geertruida is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 23. April 1930 by Dutch astronomer Hendrik van Gent in Johannesburg was discovered.
The name of the asteroid is derived from a sister of G. Pels , a computational assistant at the Leiden observatory.
