(1361) Leuschneria is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on August 30, 1935 by the Belgian astronomer Eugène Joseph Delporte in Ukkel .
The asteroid was named after the American astronomer Armin Otto Leuschner , head of the astronomy department at the University of California at Berkeley .
