(1483) Hakoila is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 24 February 1938 by the Finnish astronomer Yrjö Väisälä at Turku was discovered.

The asteroid is named after the Finnish astronomer Kosti Johannes Hakoila , an assistant to the discoverer.
