(16810) Pavelaleksandrov is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 25 October 1997 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba its private Prescott Observatory ( IAU code 684) south of Prescott was discovered.

The asteroid was named on January 9, 2001 after the Soviet mathematician Pawel Sergejewitsch Alexandrow (1896–1982), whose main occupation was topology and who was best known as the pioneer of algebraic topology .
