(1848) Delvaux is an asteroid of the main belt discovered on August 18, 1933 by the Belgian astronomer Eugène Joseph Delporte in Ukkel .
The asteroid is dedicated to either the daughter-in-law of the French astronomer Georges Roland or that of the Belgian astronomer Ginette Roland .
