(1855) Korolev ( 1969 TU 1 ; 1961 JD ; 1964 DD ) is an asteroid of the main belt asteroid , which was discovered on October 8, 1969 by Lyudmila Ivanovna Chernych in the Crimean Observatory . It is named after the Soviet missile designer Sergei Pavlovich Korolev .
