(21082) Araimasaru is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 13 October 1991 by the Japanese astronomer Tsutomu Hioki and Shuji Hayakawa at the observatory in Okutama ( IAU code 877) in Tokyo was discovered.

The asteroid was named on January 6, 2003 after the Japanese astronomer Masaru Arai (* 1952).
