(23110) Eric Berne is an asteroid of the main belt , the American US on January 2, 2000 by amateur astronomer Charles W. Juel at Fountain Hills Observatory ( IAU code 678) in Arizona was discovered.
The asteroid was named on August 4, 2001 after the Canadian-born psychiatrist and doctor Eric Berne (1910-1970), who developed transactional analysis (TA) as a psychotherapeutic method.
