(23111) Fritzperls is an asteroid of the main belt , the American US on January 2, 2000 by amateur astronomer Charles W. Juel at Fountain Hills Observatory ( IAU code 678) in Arizona was discovered.

The asteroid was named on August 4, 2001 after the German psychiatrist and psychotherapist Fritz Perls (1893-1970), who is considered one of the leading founders of Gestalt therapy .
