(2445) Blazhko is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 3 October 1935 by the Russian astronomer pelageya shajn the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in simeiz was discovered.
The asteroid was named after the Russian astronomer, geophysicist, author and polar explorer Sergei Nikolajewitsch Blazhko .
