(25029) Ludwig Hesse is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 26 August 1998 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code in 684) Arizona was discovered.

The asteroid was named on August 4, 2001 after the German mathematician Ludwig Otto Hesse (1811–1874).
