(2845) Frank left is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 26 July 1981 by the US American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station ( IAU code 688) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the American astronomer Kenneth Franklin (1923-2007), who discovered the Jupiter bursts in 1955 together with Bernard Flood Burke .
