(29337) Hakurojo is an asteroid of the main belt , which on January 6, 1995 by Japanese amateur astronomers Tsutomu Seki at the observatory Geisei- ( IAU code 372) in the prefecture of Kōchi was discovered.

The asteroid was named after Himeji Castle in Himeji in the Japanese prefecture of Hyōgo , which because of its beauty is nicknamed Hakuro-jō or Shirasagi-jō ( d 城 , dt. "White Heron Castle") and has been used several times as a film set served for internationally known productions.
