(29910) Segre is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 14 May 1999 by the Italian-American astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code 684) in Arizona was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the Italian mathematician Corrado Segre (1863-1924), who taught as a professor of geometry at the University of Turin from 1888 and put his main focus on algebraic geometry .
