(33342) 1998 WT 24 is an asteroid of the Aten type that crosses the orbits of Mercury and Venus in addition to the earth's orbit . Its orbit extends almost exactly from Mercury's orbit to Earth's orbit. It is one of the best-studied asteroids that could threaten the earth from an impact. 1998 WT 24 was discovered by LINEAR on November 25, 1998 .
