(4532) Copland is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 15 April 1985 by the American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station ( IAU code 688) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the American composer Aaron Copland (1900–1990), who was one of the most important representatives of American modernism.
