(4545) Primo Levi is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 28 September 1989 by the Belgian astronomer Henri DEBEHOGNE at La Silla Observatory ( IAU code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the Italian chemist and writer Primo Levi .
