(4801) Ohre is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 22, 1989 by the Czech astronomer Antonín Mrkos at the Kleť observatory ( IAU code 046) near Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic .
The asteroid was named on April 2, 1999 after the Czech river Ohře .
