(5173) Stjerneborg is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 13 March 1988 by the Danish astronomer Poul Jensen at Brorfelde Observatory ( IAU code was discovered 054).
The asteroid was named on April 7, 2005 after the Stjerneborg , the largely underground observatory of the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe .
