(7392) Kowalski is an asteroid of the main belt . It was discovered on March 6, 1984 by the American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station ( IAU code 688) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County .
The asteroid was named after the American astronomer Richard A. Kowalski (* 1963), the founder and administrator of the Minor Planet Mailing List , a web-based information service for asteroid watchers.
