(8032) Michael Adams is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 8 March 1992 by the Japanese astronomer Seiji Ueda and Hiroshi Kaneda at the observatory in Kushiro ( IAU code was discovered 399).

The celestial body is named after the former US test pilot Michael Adams (1930-1967), who completed 7 flights in the X-15 program and was the first American to die in a space flight to posthumously receive his astronaut wings .
