(9041) Takane is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 9 February 1991 by the Japanese astronomer Satoru Ōtomo and Osamu Muramatsu at the observatory in Kiyosato ( IAU code was discovered 894).
It was named on April 27, 2002 after the city of Takane in Yamanashi Prefecture , the location of the observatory where the asteroid was observed for the first time.
