10 Tauri is a star in the constellation Taurus , the approximately 45.5 light years from the sun away. It's about the same age as the sun, but more massive and hotter than it. The spectral class F9IV-V indicates that 10 Tauri is about to leave the main sequence and evolve from a main sequence star to a subgiant .
10 Tauri is possibly a spectroscopic binary star . An infrared excess could be observed through the two space telescopes IRAS and ISO , which is interpreted as a debris disk around 10 Tauri.
