165th Reserve Division (Wehrmacht)

The 165th Reserve Division was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was established on October 4, 1942. The division was stationed in occupied France for a long time and was relocated to the Dutch island of Walcheren on January 4, 1944 . On August 1, 1944, the 165th Reserve Division was renamed the 70th Infantry Division .
