Commander in chief
Chief of Staff

At the beginning of 1918, the Supreme Army Command reinforced the German armed forces on the Western Front for a planned offensive (→ German Spring Offensive 1918 ). For this purpose, troops were brought in from the eastern front that were no longer needed there after the collapse of the tsarist empire. In the course of the restructuring, the previous Army High Command of the disbanded Southern Army was inserted between Army Division C and Army Division A. This was called Army High Command 19 from February 8, 1918 . It moved into headquarters in Saint-Avold . After the Compiègne armistice was concluded , the 19th Army withdrew from November 15, 1918 until it arrived in Maulbronn on November 24, 1918 . The association was later dissolved there.
