3,5-Dinitro-4-chlorobenzotrifluoride is a chemical compound from the group of chlorobenzotrifluorides .

presentation

3,5-Dinitro-4-chlorobenzotrifluoride can be obtained by a reaction of p -chlorotoluene with hydrogen fluoride to p -chlorobenzotrifluoride and subsequent reaction with nitric acid and sulfuric acid. Alternatively, the carboxy group of 3,5-dinitro-4-chlorobenzoic acid with sulfur tetrafluoride can also be replaced by trifluoride.
