4. Fuse Division
The 4th Security Division was a major unit of the German Navy during World War II .
history
The division was set up in February 1941 for security tasks in the area of the French Atlantic coast. The headquarters were in the following places: Lamor-Plage near Lorient and later La Rochelle .
The 4th Security Division was subordinate to the Commander of Security West . It was disbanded in September 1944 because of the withdrawal from the French Atlantic coast.
