2. Fuse Division
The 2nd Security Division was a major unit of the German Navy during World War II .
history
The division was set up in February 1941 at Boulogne for security tasks in the area of the French Channel coast. The 2nd Security Division was subordinate to the commander of the Security West and was deployed in the English Channel between Dover and the mouth of the Scheldt . It was dissolved in September 1944.

In addition, from February 1944, the newly established 6th artillery carrier flotilla, which only existed until August 1944, was placed under the division.
