course
The A50 branches off the A6 road in Leicester , becomes the primary red after crossing the A563 road , then crosses the A46 road and leads to junction 22 of the M1 motorway , where it becomes the A511 road . Its course is interrupted up to the connection junction 24 of the M1. There it branches off to the west and bypasses, in sections together with the A6, Derby at some distance to the south, crosses the A38 road , which has been developed as a double carriageway like the A50 and leads after the intersection of the A515 road via Uttoxeter to Stoke-on-Trent . There the A500 road branches off to Nantwich . Here the road loses its character as a primary route and runs largely parallel to the M6 motorway via Kidsgrove and Knutsford to junction 20 of the M6. The final section to Warrington , where it ends at the A57 road and the A49 road , is again mainly designated as a primary route.
