The 1931–32 season was the sixth regular season for the American Hockey Association (AHA). The Chicago Shamrocks became champions .

Team changes

The following changes were made before the start of the season:

In the regular season, the six teams should play 48 games each, but the Buffalo Majors withdrew after half of the players from the league. The top three teams qualified for the playoffs, with the first place in the regular season qualified directly for the final. The playoff semifinals were played in a series, whereby the team with the better goal difference progressed, the final was played in the best-of-five mode. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
