The band was signed to Artery Recordings and released an EP and two studio albums. The group has toured with groups like Pierce the Veil , The Chariot , Asking Alexandria , From First to Last , Our Last Night and We Came as Romans .

A Bullet for Pretty Boy was founded in 2006 in Dallas , Texas and currently consists of Danan Saylor ( vocals ), Joshua Modisette ( keyboard ) and Christian Johnston ( electric guitar ). Former members are Brian Bingham ( electric bass ), Taylor Kimball ( drums ), Josh Trammel (drums) and Derrick Sechrist (electric guitar). The latter also plays in The Plot in You .
On April 8, 2009 the EP Beauty in the Eyes of the Beholder was released , which was financed and published independently. The American label Artery Recordings signed the group. With producer Cameron Mizell , the band recorded the album Revision: Revise , which was released on the label. On July 31, 2012, the group released the second and so far last album Symbiosis . It was produced by Chris Harris and was also released through Artery Recordings.
The group played on the Welcome to the Circus Tour between May 8th and June 9th 2010 with Asking Alexandria , We Came as Romans , From First to Last and Our Last Night . From January 7th to 25th, 2011, A Bullet for Pretty Boy opened up for Silverstein . Which was accompanied Winterizer Tour also by Pierce the Veil , The Chariot and Miss May I . The band has been quiet since 2012.
