Aaron Cel (born March 4, 1987 in Orléans , France ) is a Polish-French basketball player . In addition to French, he also has Polish citizenship . Since the 2016/17 season he has played in the position of power forward for the French BCM Gravelines .

Career

Aaron Cel began his career at MSB from Le Mans , with whom he won the French championship at the age of 19. He went through the French U-16, U-18 and U-20 national teams with which he took part in the respective European championships. With Le Mans he took part in the FIBA EuroCup 2005/06 and the ULEB Euroleague 2006/07 , but was only used in a few games. For the 2007/08 season, Cel moved to the French Pro-B, where he played for various clubs for three years. Since the 2011/12 season he played for Turów Zgorzelec in Poland. With Turow he played in the Eurocup 2011/12 and the VTB United League 2012/13 . Here he was named the best Polish player in the 2012/13 season. This was followed by a move to Stelmet Zielona Góra , with whom he celebrated the Polish championship and cup victory in 2015. Cel has also played for the Polish national team since 2014 . In 2015, Cel moved back to France to AS Monaco and a year later to BCM Gravelines .
