The season 2005/06 was the third season of the FIBA Europe discharged Euro Challenge and the first under the name EuroCup.

Joventut de Badalona from Spain won the title for the first time .

The tournament began with a group stage of eight groups of four teams each. The group winners and the runners-up played in the second group stage in four groups of four teams each.
