The season 2007/08 was the fifth season of the FIBA Europe discharged Euro Challenge and the last under the name EuroCup. In July 2008 the competition was renamed EuroChallenge.
The Barons LMT won the title for the first time .
mode
The tournament started with two qualifying rounds. A group phase of four groups with 4 teams each followed. The group winners and the runners-up played in the quarter-finals, which was played in a best-of-three series. The semi-finals, the final and the third place match took place in a Final Four tournament.
qualification
1 round
The first qualifying round games were played on October 30 and November 6, 2007.
2nd round
The second qualifying round games were played on November 20 and 27, 2007.
Participants in the main round
16 teams took part in the regular season of the EuroChallenge.
Group stage
The first group stage matches took place between December 21, 2007 and January 21, 2008.
