Aaron Nguimbat (born March 13, 1978 in Yaoundé ) is a former Cameroonian football player .

Career

Nguimbat began his professional career at Canon Yaoundé . On April 23, 2000, he played his only international match against Somalia in the World Cup qualification. With the U23 selection of Cameroon, he took part in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney , where he played five games and was Olympic champion with the team. In 2001 he moved to the Latvian club Skonto Riga , with whom he became Latvian champions in 2002 , 2003 and 2004 and won the Latvian Cup in 2002. After his time in Riga, he returned to his homeland for a year and played for Unisport Bafang before he was active in Indonesia for Sriwijaya FC .
